We are so grateful to have such a giving community. From young to old, there is so much kindness to be found in this valley.
The animals here are so very blessed to receive this bundle of Christmas joy. What a wonderfully generous idea from Ms. Reckling and all the children!

Lucky lived at our shelter for over 3 years before she finally found her forever family. There is always someone out there for each and every one of these pets. Some times it just takes a while to find them.
Clyde was adopted recently. He enjoyed spending Thanksgiving Day with his new family.

I thought I would send an update on Patch (formerly Skye), who is turning out to be a great dog. Loves his new bed and to lay right beside me when I’m reading or watching TV. He is very affectionate and smart. As I suspected, we bonded in about 8-9 days. I think you would approve of my quiet ways with him and our peaceful home. We still have things to work on, but he is smart and picks up things very quickly.
Many thanks to you and your crew for all that you do. And for your help with Patch, particularly. I hope all is well with you and the shelter. I suspect the hills are just spectacular about now.
We have had Lake about a year and dearly love him. He is now a true Illinois dog. Everyone that meets him asks where we got him, and we proudly say “at Lucky’s Place in Wyoming “.
We couldn’t have ever gotten a better dog. He even puts up with us dressing him up in his new Halloween outfit.

Fourteen years ago, I contacted you about a little lab aussie cross puppy that I was interested in adopting. I saw her on Petfinder I knew I had to meet her. I came to your house and when I saw her and held her, I was in love and knew she would be coming home with me. Her name is Molly, and she is the best and most
wonderful dog. I can’t tell you how much love and joy she has given me and I have given her. She even talks, saying “momma” “I love you” and lots of other huge conversations that I can only guess the meaning. Thank you for all the years of love from the special girl you saved! -Margie
We adopted Trapper on March 24th. She is finally starting to become more comfortable here. I feel she still has a long way to go, but we are making progress. -Holly
