Easter Quilt Auction Winner

Lucky’s Place wants to send a special thank you to our Easter Quilt winner!  Yona and his family are excited to have won this beautiful handmade gift and to also help the home he once had. Yona’s family adopted him from Lucky’s Place!

“Yona is Native American for Bear. He was originally called Mikey when my husband Michael and I adopted him from Lucky’s Place last October. We renamed him because there were too many Mikes in the family!!!”

We sure do appreciate you and your new family, Yona! We appreciate all of you who do so many things to support our shelter and animals in need in our community.

Let’s clear up some confusion out there. AHASV – Lucky’s Place is NOT closing. We have had several people ask us about this. We initially could not figure out why people thought we were closing, but we have solved the mystery. There is an animal shelter in Sauk Rapids, MN that has a Facebook page called Lucky’s Place Animal Shelter, and on March 28, 2020 they posted that they had adopted out their final cat.
 
Animal Humane Association of Star Valley and our Lucky’s Place shelter  will continue to serve the animals and the people of Star Valley and surrounding areas.

Quilt Auction Winner

Quilt Auction Winner

Merriam and her toy poodle Lucky from Arkansas were the winners of our Dec 20th Quilt Auction.  Her bid and the creator of this beautiful masterpiece were such a generous donation to the shelter.  We cannot thank them enough!

We would also like to say a special thank you to everyone for your donations, your time, and for participating in our fundraisers and events.  It’s all for the animals!
